FAQ's

Q: How is a Finnish sauna different from any other bath?
A: A sauna must have a special insulated room built of softwood, a heater which is capable of heating the room to 180'F and stones which get hot enough to produce enough steam when water is poured over them. Anything else is not a Finnish sauna, also a sauna is not a steam bath. Steam is 100% humidity while a sauna is relatively dry at around 20-25% average humidity (when water is used)

Q: I live in a hot climate so why would it benefit me to own a sauna?
A: Firstly living in a hot country does not have the same heat benefits, a sauna relaxes muscles and reduces pain in joints, burns calories, flushes toxins from the body, conditions heart and improves circulation, induces deeper and more relaxed sleep, refreshes the soul and reduces stress. Remembering that the sun can have the most damaging effects on your skin, a sauna can actually help reverse this.

Q: How much space would I need to accommodate a sauna?
A: Pasidee S.L can custom build your sauna to the exact specifications that you require, from a personal sauna that seats 1-2 people (1x1m') to a larger sauna found in wellness centres, gyms or hotels.

Q: I get very claustraphobic, how could I enjoy taking a sauna?

A: Pasidee S.L can install any sauna with glass doors, windows and skylights. In addition ceilings can be built to ensure an open environment.

Q: Can a sauna be installed indoor and outdoor?

A: Yes, Pasidee S.L can install your sauna wherever you require, we also supply a variety of roofing options as well as other exterior decor.

Q: Is a sauna expensive to operate?

A: No, for example if your electrical rates are 10 cents per kilowatt hour, it will only cost you 60 cents to operate a 6 kW per hour.
